Anthony Ball

ClubsNSW Chief Executive Officer

Anthony was appointed as ClubsNSW CEO on 28 June 2010.  He is also CEO of ClubKENO Holdings and the Executive Director of ClubsAustralia, the national umbrella association for clubs.

Anthony has a Bachelor of Economics from the  Australian National University, a Certificate of Public Affairs from the University of Sydney and is a graduate of the American University’s Public Affairs and Advocacy Institute in Washington DC.

Anthony has been with ClubsNSW since 1999. Prior to his appointment as the CEO, his role with the association was as the Executive Manager for Policy and Government, and was responsible for state and national based industry advocacy.

Anthony came to ClubsNSW from the Motor Traders Association.

Josh Landis

Executive Manager, Public Affairs

Josh has been with ClubsNSW since 2007 and held the role of Senior Policy Officer and Manager of Government Relations before being promoted to the executive team in 2010.

He holds degrees from the University of Wollongong including Arts (Communications – with Distinction) and Law as well as a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. He has practised law in Sydney and London and completed American University’s Public Affairs and Advocacy Institute.

Prior to joining ClubsNSW he worked as a policy advisor to a number of senior Ministers in the NSW Government, developing a comprehensive understanding of the political process.

Josh is responsible for policy, government relations, corporate affairs, internal and external communications for ClubsNSW and ClubsAustralia. His team won the 2012 “Gold Standard” award for Best In-House Public Affairs Team in the Asia-Pacific region. They provide research, media, policy, industry advice and advocacy across all matters affecting clubs and also deliver ClubLife magazine, ClubNews TV show, several websites, social media and a range of written and online publications.

Anne Fitzgerald GAICD

Executive Manager, Member Services & Marketing

Anne Fitzgerald is the Executive Manager, Member Services and Marketing for ClubsNSW and brings extensive management experience in complex membership-based organisations as well as a background in sales management, customer service, and community engagement. Anne holds an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, a Graduate Diploma in Public Sector Management from the University of Technology, NSW, and a BA from the University of Newcastle. Anne is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Anne's role is to oversee the provision of a range of products and services to assist member clubs, including a strong learning and development framework, the Club Directors' Institute and the ClubSAFE Responsible Gambling Program. Anne is also responsible for the direction of the ClubsNSW Your Local Club communications campaign, corporate and community partnerships, events and conferencing.

Anne represents the club industry on a number of boards including Future Achievement Australia Foundation providing youth coaching programs; the Talent Development Project which aims to develop the talents and careers of young Australian performers and songwriters and the Club Directors Institute (CDI).

Anne is very passionate about building upon and forging new relationships in order to build greater capacity and governance within the club industry. She has led the development of the Future Club Leaders Program, the Clubs and Community Awards Program and is keen to use events such as the Chef’s Table Culinary Awards to showcase just how much clubs across this State are evolving and the significant difference a club can make at a local level to community wellbeing and at a State level to overall economic strength and social cohesion.

Brandon Punter

Executive Manager, Finance and Administration

Brandon is a CPA and has been a member of the Australian Society of CPAs since 1997, after completing his Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at the University of Western Sydney in 1995. Brandon brings a broad range of skills to the role and understands the club industry well after 12 years at South Sydney Leagues Club and South Sydney Football Club, where he held various roles including Commercial Manager, Financial Controller and Chief Operating Officer.



Chris Mossman

Executive Manager - Workplace Relations

Chris is an experienced employment and workplace relations lawyer having spent over 16 years in legal private practice.  He has represented employers on a wide range of workplace relations, employment and industrial relations matters including unfair dismissals, disputes with unions, enterprise bargaining agreement negotiations and approvals before the Fair Work Commission, adverse action and unlawful termination litigation, discrimination claims in various courts and tribunals, bullying applications, breach of employment contract claims, underpayment of wages and   prosecutions brought by the Fair Work Ombudsman.  He has also advised employers on the management of complex matters involving injured or ill employees and provided strategic advice on workers compensation claims and premium management.

Chris holds degrees in Business and Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and is admitted as a solicitor to the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court.   He has appeared extensively in the Fair Work Commission, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and various tribunals.

David McGrath

Chief Digital Officer

David joins ClubsNSW as the associations first Chief Digital Officer, appointed to help lead the sector with technology led strategies which improve club operations and profitability. This includes forging industrywide commercial partnerships, and the development of digital products and services that the ClubsNSW and broader industry will benefit from.

A global leader in digital technology, David has more than 20 year’s experience driving transformation at some of the world’s leading corporations. His background includes managing global commercial operations at Kiosked (New York), as well as executive roles at Telstra, IMG (UK), Yahoo! and the Nova Entertainment Group in Australia.  

Specialising in data, product development, digital advertising and technology partnerships, David also sits on the advisory boards of US artificial intelligence company Tersai Corporation, ASX listed social audio network Hear Me Out (ASX:HMO), and New York cryptocurrency technology Ternio.
